Undergraduate – BSc

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering offers study programs awarding an undergraduate degree (BSc) in Chemical Engineering or in Biochemical Engineering (a joint program with the Faculty of Biology). The Biochemical Engineering program prepares students for additional specialization in biological processes. Students in the Chemical Engineering program choose to focus on one of the following areas during their undergraduate studies: process systems, materials, environmental technologies, engineering sciences, micro- and nano-technologies, biochemical processes or a general track.

Graduate and Doctoral Degrees

Graduate studies in the Faculty are intended to deepen and widen basic knowledge in chemical engineering as well as develop strong problem-solving abilities in the range of complex chemical engineering activities. Graduate and doctoral chemical engineering students in the research tracks (MSc and PhD) combine advanced engineering studies with innovative research in one of the Faculty’s research groups. The research topics aim to respond to the needs of the chemical industry worldwide.
