Mission

The mission of the Technion Chemical Engineering Department comprises three key areas:

1. Education

Educating the future generation of Chemical and Biochemical Engineers. Training our students in developing and controlling physical, chemical, and biological processes while understanding and applying engineering design tools. Imparting problem-solving knowledge to creatively develop solutions to complex challenges and to develop novel products and processes.

2. Research

To provide diverse and interdisciplinary research programs that attract creative future researchers, that shape science and engineering through interfaces with chemistry, biology, and material sciences, and contribute to solving the technological needs of the Israeli and global economies and human society.

3. Social Responsibility

To promote active leadership in shaping the scientific and technological context of social, economic, and environmental aspects.
