During the course the students practice the principles of heat transfer and flow processes. The material taught in theoretical courses of principles and separation processes.<\/p>\n<p>During the course, the students experience teamwork and the operation of industrial systems on a laboratory scale, analysis of obtained results and submission of a scientific report.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the topics taught in the course are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flow processes<\/li>\n<li>Conduction and convection heat transfer<\/li>\n<li>Filtration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and many others.<\/p>\n<p>Location: The laboratory is in Pilot B area<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>054400<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>Chemical Engineering Laboratory 2<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Compulsory course for undergraduate students in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. This laboratory is a continuation course of a laboratory for chemical engineering 1. During the course, students are practicing separation processes and reactors that were learnt in theoretical courses of reactor design and separation principles.<\/p>\n<p>During the course, students experience teamwork and the operation of industrial systems on a laboratory scale, analyzing the results obtained and presenting a scientific presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the topics taught in the course are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Various reactors<\/li>\n<li>Chromatography<\/li>\n<li>Ion exchange<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And many others.<\/p>\n<p>Location: The laboratory is in Pilot B area<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>054316<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>Laboratory in Thermodynamics A<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This laboratory is a part of a theoretical course in Thermodynamics A and replacing the laboratory of physical chemistry given in the past. The course is intended for students of chemical engineering and environmental engineering. The lab exercises were specially constructed and adapted to the material taught in class. They will include practice of the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat capacity<\/li>\n<li>Ideal gas law<\/li>\n<li>Joule-Thomson effect<\/li>\n<li>The equation of state and the critical point<\/li>\n<li>Heat pumps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: The laboratory is in Pilot B area<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>054317<\/u><\/strong> <strong><u>Laboratory in Thermodynamics B<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This laboratory is part of a theoretical course in Thermodynamics B and replacing the laboratory of physical chemistry given in the past.
